Watch out
- 20 km/h over costs from €173. Pay within 5 days for a 30% discount.
- Never drive into a ZTL: every camera gate is a separate fine, often €80–100.
- A bike rack that sticks out needs a red-and-white warning panel (50 × 50 cm).
Truck (over 3.5 t)
- Autostrade · > 3,5 t · Telepass / EETS
- Truck driving ban (> 7,5 t): Sundays and public holidays 9–22 h (June–September 7–22 h); in July and August also most Saturdays 8–16 h and some Fridays 16–22 h.
One toll box for the whole route: an EETS provider covers several countries with one device, for example: DKV BOX EUROPE, UTA One, Eurowag (W.A.G. payment), AS 24, Telepass EU, Toll4Europe.
