Watch out
  • Tyrol: on weekends and public holidays (7 am–7 pm) detour roads in the Innsbruck, Kufstein, Imst and Reutte districts are closed to through traffic. Destination traffic needs proof, such as a hotel booking.
  • For extreme speeding (60+ km/h over in towns, 70+ outside) the police can seize your car.
Truck (over 3.5 t)
  • ASFINAG GO-Maut · > 3,5 t · GO-Box / EETS
  • Truck driving ban (> 7,5 t): Saturday 15 h to Sunday 22 h (also trucks with a trailer if either part is over 3.5 t). In summer Saturdays 8–15 h on the A4 and holiday roads, 7–15 h on the A10 Tauern. Night ban 22–5 h. In Tyrol: block clearance at Kufstein, a sectoral ban on the A12 and Luegbrücke (A13) works until about 2031.

One toll box for the whole route: an EETS provider covers several countries with one device, for example: DKV BOX EUROPE, UTA One, Eurowag (W.A.G. payment), AS 24, Telepass EU, Toll4Europe.
